Out of this world pastries! My family and I all have said that these are literally THE BEST specialty desserts, cookies, and pastries! The taste is Amazing in each pastry. The Italian cream filled desserts blew me away! The texture and sweetness of these are so balanced and mouth watering! Everything I tried was absolutely delicious, and as fresh as can be. Clean and nice atmosphere. I forgot the lady's name, but each time, she is so helpful and was helpful with questions I had. I went there three times within a few days. We had people visiting around Holidays, and they were hit! Easy street parking on both sides of the road. Right in branford center area. I highly recommend. Also fantastic for bringing a box to a get together, or for others when visiting. I can't express how impressed and satisfying these pastries are! We are very happy with Cheri's Bakery! Highly recommend!!!

Cheri's is open in a better location than the downtown one. Better parking, nice selection. Nutella croissant and the tomato focaccia where excellent.
Great Italian pastries as always, if Incould say anything negative it would be tne owners personality which is that of a chip munk...NEVER a smile and NEVER greets her customers...actually a CHiP Munk is cuter, learn some customer skills.
I was struggling to find good donuts in CT because I come from the part of Texas where there's a small donut shop on every corner. After trying Cheri's donuts, I will say these are the best donuts I've had in my life. They're large, soft, and have delicious ample frosting.

I stopped into Cheri’s bakery to order a birthday cake the first day they re-opened on Feb 28. It was spotless, fully stocked, busy and Cheri was so friendly. The cake was delicious, flawless, fresh and everyone at the party raved about it! Best Italian Cream cake! Delicious!
I can't say enough about this place. Its reminds me of the old bakery from when i was a kid. Great products and sweet, wonderful staff, always greet everyone with a smile. You can't go wrong with anything you buy here. Faves are carrot cake, almond ring, cookies.
I haven’t been to Cheri’s since the original location closed, but I wanted a pastry, but didn’t feel like going into New Haven and the new location is very close to me. I was very pleasantly impressed!! We got a Lobster Tail, Pasticciotti, and sfogliatella……each one was better than the other. Delicious. Obviously re-opened for good reason!!
